After the recent ternary lithium battery fire incident in the Singapore data center, the global data center industry is facing a critical moment to redefine energy storage safety standards. In response to this change, Taiwan's UPS LFP battery system leader  TAIWAN TRUEWIN TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD (hereinafter referred to as TRUEWIN) announced today that it will sign a MOU to cooperate with Taiwan's well-known lead-acid battery manufacturer, targeting the UPS LFP battery market in international data centers in North America, ASEAN and Japan.

With its high-security UPS LFP battery system, TRUEWIN has established a dominant position of more than 80% in the Taiwan market, with a cumulative installed capacity of 588.5MW. The company owns a battery module factory in Tainan with an annual output of 300 MWh and a BMS factory in Zhubei, specializing in the R&D and production of high-standard solutions. Its core technologies include domestic high-permeability isolation films, STOBA thermal runaway protection materials, and battery management systems that have passed industrial EMC Level 4 certification.

The main focus of this strategic alliance is to authorize a friend to produce LFP battery modules and cabinets in Vietnam. TRUEWIN will provide complete technical support and quality control, establish a dual-brand sales strategy and share production resources, and jointly provide ODM services to international customers. Both parties will build differentiated competitive advantages through complementary advantages:

- Combining TRUEWIN’s semiconductor-grade security technology with the large-scale production capabilities of friendly factories

- Utilize the advantages of Vietnam's production base to provide a competitive cost structure

- Make good use of partners’ existing sales channels in North America and other regions

- Establish product specification certification that is higher than competitors in mainland China

Under the general trend of increasing security requirements in global data centers and reorganization of supply chains, this strategic alliance between Taiwan's battery industry not only provides the industry with safer and more reliable product choices, but also creates a new competitive model for Taiwanese manufacturers in the global market.

By combining the two companies' advantages in technology, production and place, it is expected to redefine the industry standards for data center energy storage solutions and establish an important position for Taiwan in the global high-end emergency backup energy storage market.
