TRUEWIN, a provider of high-safety and long-life energy storage solutions, has joined hands with NextDrive, an energy IoT technology company with deep roots in Japan, to enter the Japanese post-meter commercial energy storage market. Its low-carbon, high-efficiency industrial and commercial energy storage device "Ostar" will become its flagship product. The product Ostar is equipped with 125KW/261KWh and includes an imported STOBA liquid-cooled energy storage device. Its all-in-one body design has a small footprint and IP55 dust and water-proof outdoor rating. It is equipped with the BMS battery management system independently developed by Truewin Technology, and uses the battery cell isolation membrane technology of Foresight Energy Technologies to enhance its safety. It is suitable for the Japanese market with liberalized electricity market and high penetration rate of renewable energy, and meets the needs of the Japanese market. The two parties have launched an introduction scenario test plan in full swing. In this cooperation, Truewin and NextDrive each bring professional and practical experience to create a win-win situation.
Ostar's all-in-one energy storage system with improved safety, reduced costs and easy maintenance.
The new commercial energy storage system Ostar launched by Truewin Technology has flexible configuration capabilities and can be widely used in power transfer, charging pile applications, renewable energy, backup power, and microgrids. A single Ostar battery cabinet has a rated capacity of 261KWh, and the total capacity of 6 cabinets in parallel can be expanded to 1.5MWh. The whole machine is assembled and shipped out of the factory, which makes transportation easy, effectively reducing transportation and assembly costs for customers, and also significantly reducing on-site installation time. This product also provides a 15-year warranty. Based on the characteristics of all-in-one products, it can be maintained for a single cabinet. In order to improve its safety and avoid thermal runaway, it uses STOBA electrolyte, upgraded battery cell materials with Foresight Energy Technologies isolation membranes, and the BMS battery management system independently developed by Truewin Technology to comprehensively monitor the status of all internal batteries. If thermal runaway occurs, the fire protection system is activated and inert gas is injected into the single battery module from the temperature source in the cabinet to avoid the impact of temperature continuation on the cabinet equipment.
Local quality, creating full life cycle smart energy storage services.
In this cooperation, NextDrive Technology will provide its energy IoT management platform and AI control technology, combined with Truewin Technology's battery energy storage system and battery management system, to create customized energy storage solutions for Japanese companies, covering demand response, renewable energy integration, power backup and battery life cycle management, etc., to help companies reduce demand costs, increase the proportion of renewable energy use, ensure a stable power supply, and effectively reduce operating costs.
In terms of market layout, Truewin Technology continues to seize this expansion opportunity and continues to actively expand into the Southeast Asian market (Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam). Looking to the future, it is expected to move westward into the North American market and work closely with partners in many countries to adjust product solutions based on local market demands and provide the best energy storage solutions. Through these strategic partners, Ostar Systems will further expand its market share and help local companies move towards green energy transformation.
